Privacy policy

Last updated: October 8, 2026

Tortalia is an app by David Levi (“we”). This policy explains what data the app uses and why. In short: your recipes are yours, we don’t sell or share your data, and there are no ads or tracking.

1. Without an account

You can use Tortalia without an account. Your recipes, ingredients, quotes and business settings then stay only on your phone. We receive nothing.

2. With an account (optional)

If you sign in with Apple to back up and use Tortalia on another phone, we store on our server:

We use it only to make the app work (sync and backup). The server is Supabase (United States), with encrypted connections and rules so each person can only see their own data.

3. Purchases

Subscriptions are charged by Apple; we never see your card. We use RevenueCat to know whether your subscription is active; it receives an anonymous ID or your account ID and the app’s purchase history.

4. What we don’t do

5. Your rights and deleting your account

You can view and edit everything in the app. To delete your account and all cloud data: Settings → Cloud backup → Delete my account. It’s immediate. You can also email nikoslevi18@gmail.com. Data on your phone is erased with “Erase all data” or by uninstalling.

6. Retention

We keep account data while you have an account. Deleting it removes it immediately; provider backups expire on their normal cycle (up to 30 days).

7. Children

Tortalia is a business tool for adults and is not directed to children under 13.

8. Changes and contact

If this policy changes we’ll update the date above. Questions: nikoslevi18@gmail.com.
